Existing Building & New Construction Project Assessment

 

Existing Building

Luxien arranges existing building tours in order to document existing lighting systems, gauge energy consumption, fixture condition and maintenance issues. We gauge existing lighting levels (Lumen/Lux Metering) as well as heat gain created by existing high wattage halogen and incandescent technology using an infrared light meter and create a photographic reference for ongoing reporting.  

New Construction

Luxien reviews existing new construction plans and specifications, including light fixture schedules and conventional light fixture specifications. We create an alternate light fixture schedule using LED solid-state technology where applications apply.  Luxien creates LED alternate fixture schedules and specification submittals to the Developer or Owner for consideration. We work with existing lighting design teams to implement solid-state lighting applications, including LED fixture alternates and implications on wiring, dimming, energy control’s, circuiting and panel sizing.
